Conflict-Free Policy
DICOLOUR GEMS PRIVATE LIMITED

Last Updated: 5 September 2026
1. Our Commitment
DICOLOUR GEMS PRIVATE LIMITED ("DICOLOUR", "Company", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to the responsible sourcing of gemstones, diamonds and precious metals. We only deal in gemstones and diamonds that we believe, to the best of our knowledge and based on assurances from our suppliers, are conflict-free and have been sourced through legitimate and ethical channels.
We do not knowingly buy, sell or trade in gemstones or diamonds that originate from sources involved in funding conflict, human-rights abuses, or unlawful activity.
2. What "Conflict-Free" Means
"Conflict diamonds" (also known as "blood diamonds") are rough diamonds used by rebel movements or their allies to finance armed conflict aimed at undermining legitimate governments. A conflict-free gemstone or diamond is one that has been sourced, traded and processed without financing violence, exploitation or human-rights violations.
Our conflict-free commitment extends beyond diamonds to include coloured gemstones and precious metals, which we seek to source through responsible and transparent supply chains wherever reasonably practicable.
3. The Kimberley Process
DICOLOUR supports the objectives of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS), an international initiative established to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the legitimate diamond supply chain.
Where applicable, the diamonds we source are accompanied by assurances that they have been handled in accordance with the Kimberley Process and relevant United Nations resolutions. We rely on our suppliers to warrant that the diamonds they provide are conflict-free and comply with the KPCS.
4. Supplier Warranties
We source our gemstones, diamonds and materials from established suppliers and trade partners. As part of our sourcing practices, we seek written or system-based assurances from our suppliers confirming that:
- the gemstones and diamonds supplied are conflict-free;
- they have been obtained through legitimate, lawful channels;
- they are not involved in financing conflict or human-rights abuses; and
- they comply, where applicable, with the Kimberley Process and relevant national and international laws.
We rely in good faith on these supplier warranties and the industry systems of warranties applicable to the gemstone and diamond trade.
5. Responsible Sourcing Practices
In addition to conflict-free assurances, DICOLOUR endeavours to work with suppliers who follow responsible and ethical business practices, including lawful mining, fair labour standards and compliance with applicable trade regulations.
Where reasonably practicable, we favour supply chains that demonstrate transparency, traceability and adherence to recognised industry standards for responsible sourcing.
6. Certificates and Documentation
Certain gemstones and diamonds offered by DICOLOUR may be accompanied by certificates or reports issued by independent gemological laboratories. Where provided, such documentation supports the identification and, where applicable, the origin of the stone.
A laboratory's opinion regarding origin is an expert opinion and may not constitute an absolute guarantee of geographic provenance.
7. Limitations
While DICOLOUR makes reasonable efforts to ensure that all gemstones and diamonds are conflict-free and responsibly sourced, we operate within a global supply chain and rely on assurances provided by our suppliers and trade partners.
We cannot independently verify every stage of every supply chain and therefore provide these assurances to the best of our knowledge and based on information available to us at the time of sourcing.
8. Our Promise to Customers
When you purchase from DICOLOUR, you can be confident that we are committed to ethical sourcing and that we do not knowingly deal in conflict gemstones or diamonds. We take our responsibility seriously and continually seek to strengthen our sourcing practices in line with evolving industry standards.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Conflict-Free Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our sourcing practices, industry standards or applicable legal requirements. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
